PSA Grading from China (September 2026)

How to get cards from the mainland into PSA's system: the Hong Kong Submission Center route, customs notes, and which Chinese-language sets PSA accepts.

The route: PSA Hong Kong Submission Center

PSA's Hong Kong center (opened late 2025) is the official intake and return hub for mainland China — built to keep your cards clear of U.S.–China tariff exposure. Your cards go Hong Kong → PSA California → back through Hong Kong to you.

1.

Request access to PSA's Online Submission Center. First-time APAC submitters fill out PSA's access form (IP whitelist) — allow 3–5 business days for approval.

2.

Create your submission online: pick a service level, declare each card's value honestly (it sets insurance and eligibility), and print the submission forms.

3.

Ship to the PSA Hong Kong Submission Center with the forms inside (tracked and insured), or drop off in person by appointment, Monday–Friday. Many mainland collectors use a Shenzhen–Hong Kong forwarder or deliver in person.

4.

Track progress in Submission History on psacard.com. Finished orders return to Hong Kong first, then ship to your return address on file.

Which Chinese-language sets does PSA accept?

PSA accepts Chinese-language Pokémon sets set-by-set under its foreign-card rules — modern simplified-Chinese releases like the Gem Pack series are actively graded and tracked in the population report. Check your exact set in PSA's Population Report before shipping.

We track raw and PSA 10 prices for the major Chinese-exclusive sets: Gem Pack 4 · Gem Pack 5 · Gem Pack 3 — card pages show what each card is worth raw vs graded.

Frequently asked questions

How much does it cost to grade from China?

PSA's standard service-level fees apply (see current pricing in the Online Submission Center for your region), plus shipping to and from Hong Kong. Run each card through our PSA calculator first — on cheap cards, shipping alone can eat the upside.

How long does the full round trip take?

PSA's quoted turnaround (current times here) plus roughly 2–4 weeks for the Hong Kong legs and the return.

Why not ship directly to PSA in California?

Tariff exposure and customs holds in both directions. PSA built the Hong Kong intake specifically so mainland customers avoid that — it's the process PSA directs Chinese customers to use.

Which cards are worth grading?

A card is worth grading when the PSA 10 price clears the raw price plus grading fee, shipping, and selling fees — weighted by the odds it actually gems. Every card page on PokeInvest shows raw vs PSA 10 pricing and gem rates from PSA population data.

Shipping internationally makes picking the right cards matter more. The September 2026 Grade Report ranks the 30 most profitable cards to grade, by expected profit.
